Echoes from Eden
From the garden of Eden to the promised city of God, Scripture tells a story of communion lost and relationship restored.

I wrote this book because I kept finding the same invitation woven through Scripture: the God who made us has never stopped drawing near. I would love for you to follow that thread with me, from the first garden to the promised city.
A PERSONAL INVITATION
Why I Wrote This Book
I began writing Echoes from Eden because I could not escape a question that seemed to follow me through Scripture: What if the Bible is telling one continuous story of a God who has always desired to dwell with His people?
From the garden to the wilderness, from the tabernacle to the temple, and ultimately to Christ and the promise of all things made new, I began seeing a thread I had overlooked for years. The places and patterns were familiar, but together they told a story more beautiful than I had understood.
I wrote this book for the reader who wants to see Scripture with fresh eyes. My hope is that you will discover not merely how the biblical story fits together, but the heart of the God who has been drawing humanity toward Himself from the beginning.
From the Pages
From the Prologue · When Heaven Meets the Floor of a Child’s Room
Most nights, he cannot sit still, sprinting from corner to corner, barefoot, bounding with the kind of energy only a two-year-old can carry. The trucks and tractors come out first, bulldozers, excavators, big rigs, the language of boyhood wonder in constant motion, filling the room with noise and movement. But as night deepens and the light softens, something begins to shift. The pace eases, the air changes, and when we finally settle into prayer, a quiet falls over him that does not come at any other time.
We curl together in the rocking chair, shoulder to shoulder, a stack of truck books resting between us, and his small hands are always reaching, folded into mine, resting on my arm, or brushing my cheek as though he is anchoring himself to something beyond the moment. After the truck books, he always asks for one more, the Bible. We read from The Action Bible, a little advanced for his age, yet I sensed in my spirit that his understanding would rise to meet it, and it does. He cannot yet articulate theology, but his spirit is unmistakably awake to things beyond language, and when we pray, something stirs within him and around him. The atmosphere grows still, the room feels weighted with presence, and it seems, in those moments, that heaven itself has drawn near.
At first, our prayers were tender and simple. I would ask what he wanted to thank God for, and he would beam as he listed his favorites with toddler delight: excavator, dump truck, bulldozer, each word offered with earnest joy. It was precious and unguarded, marked by a purity that needed no explanation. Then one night, I felt a quiet nudge in my spirit, gentle but unmistakable, an invitation not to restrain myself. So I didn’t. I prayed as I would when alone, carrying the weight and wonder of intercession, the language of the Courts of Heaven, and the syllables that rise when the Spirit leads beyond words. I stopped filtering and simply invited him into the depth, and his spirit responded with recognition rather than confusion. That was when the visions began.
