THE PRIVATE PAGES OF A LIFE WITH GOD
Along the Way
An open journal of inhabitations, questions, wildernesses, and grace.
A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
Come in. Stay a while.
Some thoughts never became chapters. Some began beside an open Bible, in a kitchen, in the wilderness of an ordinary Tuesday, or at the edge of a question I could not yet answer. These are the places where Scripture ceased to be something I merely examined and began to examine me.
There is no reading order. Turn to whichever page calls to you.
BETWEEN THE COVERS
Pages from the journal
Fourteen inhabitations to wander through. The collection will continue to grow.

FROM THE JOURNAL
The Tyranny of the Ordinary
What happens when the truth we understand finally begins to rearrange our ordinary lives?

FROM THE JOURNAL
Beauty Beyond Necessity
The generosity of a world that blooms even when no one is watching.

FROM THE JOURNAL
Abide
The dishes still need doing. And perhaps abiding was never meant to end when we get up.

FROM THE JOURNAL
The Map I Was Never Given
I would have followed the lines. He wanted me to follow Him.

FROM THE JOURNAL
The Strange Company of Grief and Hope
Grief and hope have taken seats beside one another, and neither seems surprised.

FROM THE JOURNAL
Under the Current
The river is deep, the pruning sharp, and the hands that hold us still bear scars.

FROM THE JOURNAL
The Steward of the Field
A woman, a field, and the Owner who never asked her to carry every harvest.

FROM THE JOURNAL
Love, Marriage, and the Difference Between Feeling and Covenant
When emotion changes form, where does love learn to remain?

FROM THE JOURNAL
The Storms That Perfect Us
James, the wilderness, and the slow formation of steadfastness.

A COLLECTION IN THE MAKING
Inhabitations
Some pages reach toward a future poetic companion to The Architect. For now, they live here, where the river is still inviting us deeper.
UNTIL THE NEXT PAGE
There is always room to return.
New pages will find their place here as they are written. Nothing to finish, nothing to keep up with. Just a place to notice what God may be doing along the way.
LETTERS FOR THE JOURNEY
A little light along the way.
If these pages have kept you company, I’d be glad to write to you from time to time. Reflections on Scripture, questions still unfolding, and the patient work of becoming.
Occasional letters from KatLynne. No noise, just words worth sharing.
